What are great alternatives to FL studio? I recently switched to Linux Mint and I wish to know if there is any opensource equivalent.

I have actually found out about reaper as of recent. I havent had an opportunity to do something with it, so i have no clue if i like it or not. Only potential problem that i could see is that i wont be able to replicate some FL studio sounds (for example the ones used for lig's OST). However, this isnt a huge problem.

If you want a good all rounder try ableton live. Made specifically to be easy to hook up to live for bedroom producers. The midi is clunky but such is the case with most DAWS that are not FL

Maybe, but i dont have a lot of experience with linux in general and if there is a free alternative i would gladly take it
