> haven't drawn a car since I was like, 16 maybe?
I dont think i have ever bothered to draw a car thats more complex than what you would do in kindergarden.

did you bother with precise perspective or did you go for the flow? Machinery does get complex and Im not too big of a fan of it (when it comes to drawing)

>I dont wanna do something short, i wanna do something as long as the pilot
My fellow gamer, I cannot force you to do anything on this matter. I HIGLY recommend you go for the short content from experience. I implore you, hear my advise.

If you are just starting, you are about to look into the process and will be figuring out the workflow. You don't know what you will run into or if you will have the motivation/skills to do a long term project. It's gonna become a trench warfare type of situation against you and the project.

I get that you find things in the pilot/show that you think you will atleast offer a different opinion on, but just slow down for now.
(also its a pilot, of course its not a "beginning")

>I'd like to ask you to recommend specific training videos about scripts

i mean, writing "how to write a script" on da tube gave me a good introduction on the basics (https://youtu.be/-3uO0Qqfklo for example) and then i searched online for scripts for different movies, to see how different producers write.

here's for comic books:
https://comicsexperience.com/scripts/

here's for movies in general:
https://imsdb.com/

learn the basics and then look at reference materials.

Due to the particular situation of Ongezellig, it attracted a lot of people into picking up (again) creative skills.

A lot of projects are overambitious and once the author sees this, it gets left behind. Not that such failures are le bad, they can give a better understanding as to what is and isnt possible in one-man situations and what kind of skills need to be polished.

There's also the fact that many ongezogle projects were made to continue ongezellig (basically doing somebody else's homework). At that point just make something new and inspired by ziggy zoggy. Its a benefit - you can potentially monetize it and you have more creative freedom (no need to stay authentic to the characters, general story or the environment 1:1).

In my experience, 10 pages for a finished story are the max you will be able to handle, so go for 5 pages (or heck, try 1 page with a few pannels). The plot/story doesnt have to be complex, could be a simple joke o algo.
How many pannels would you need? Idk, go and goof around with sketches. Try to show key changes in a conversation/action/etc. and have fun.

Before that, just write a script for the story. There are video on da tube that show you how its officially done.

Before a script, you can just write a few paragraphs of the general story, without details or character lines (something like a resume).

Other than that, you will need to know basic composition stuff and how to hold a pen.

>Lora
IDK what the proportions are supposed to be, but head looks fine in this drawing. Legs are thin, which i personally dont find problematic (but patellas are way up, maybe thats what you mean by "long"). Maybe the feet need to be a bit bigger or longer, but really the hands/arms are all that needs to be fixed imo.

perhaps her hips need to be slightly larger

but Ezra ( i assume its the last pic) looks weird. The position looks weird (maybe some places should be darker to make it more clear that there is contact with the ground or with some parts of the body. IDK what it is but the hands look weird.
