Let's get the thread started
That would be a good idea, I was thinking of using oekaki to create some basic sketches on site as I write some stuff too, however, the default 500x250 size is kind of ass and imposes a limit on this
Transparent 'kaki
Ever since I have gotten this new phone, moving with some zoom in while using oekaki will sometimes bug out and either
- zooming in/out despite it being a single tap on screen
- displace the toolbar, sometimes throwing it away
- place random dots and lines on the canvas
- select something else under it, like the wide submit button below the oekaki that's like 5 pixels away
Is this a phone screen issue, or maybe a browser issue? Try a different browser and check if the problem persists. I for instance am unable to open the post menu on phone without zooming in, when I try the checkbox is pressed instead. No idea why, it looks like the tap event is somehow captured by it.
Anyway, I need a new laptop before doing any further development, the current one is 8 years old already and just not performant enough for my needs. I could still use it while the CPU is constantly at 100% usage, but that's not the best use of my time.
The browser is still the same, I have to test this on different browsers to see if there's any sort of delay for chromium based browsers. I'm aware that there's a difference since I've used a few of them I'm the past, but what I experience is something recent.
Let me see if it's really a phone thing
It's also less pixelated and zooming in and out isn't as bad
So it does seem like a browser problem. The browser version might have changed when you changed the phone, some old APIs might have been deprecated or new bugs appeared. The oekaki repo is ancient, see for yourself: https://github.com/vichan-devel/wPaint
all of these are gemz, besides >>101
not a bad idea. I was thinking about that for zigle zogle, although I never got to any soyjacks in the comic pages I did (besides Chud ig).
>Maintenance
The new laptop has arrived, so hopefully we will see this more often. 4x as fast as the previous one at compilation, the power limits, thermal limits, fan speeds are unlocked, so I will be able to extract even more performance out of it when I replace the stock 28W cooler with a 40W one. I was already able to get to stable 36W by raising the temperature limit to 90° and the fan to 4400RPM, so I'm quite optimistic, although the relationship between clock speeds and CPU power is very much non-linear.
I will begin the story. Anybody can continue it, but will have to make the next panel using one oekaki drawing. An individual cannot make two posts one after another. He has to wait for another user to continue. Also he has to tag the previous post. In the case that two posts by two different users tag the same previous post, due to bad timing, the current participants vote on which post will be the continuation.
Once upon a time, there was a humble cottage house on a small hill...
There live three sisters, each of differing origins but united by the circumstances they have been forced to endure since young, living a somewhat hard but peaceful life on their own, unaware of what lies behind the hills that have sustained their calm life
It was time for lunch and the three of them were ready to eat, sitting at the table made of wood, much like the logs they sit on, ready to pass another day with the same stew their older sister knows best — and amongst the few dishes she can cook — prepared with love and some leftover meat...
